TBC - hi app for youth

We partnered with TBC Bank to launch hi app, a digital banking platform designed specifically for students aged 6–17. Our goal was to create a tool that not only facilitates basic financial transactions but also fosters financial literacy and independence among young users.
Recognizing that today’s youth are digital natives, we developed an app that resonates with their daily habits and preferences. With hi app, students can:Transfer money between accountsTop up their mobile balanceView and utilize personalized offersMonitor their balanceControl daily spending limits
To ensure a seamless experience, we made the app free to download and use for students who possess a TBC student card.
Understanding the importance of parental oversight, we incorporated features that allow parents to monitor their children’s financial activities. Through synchronization, parents can add their children’s cards to their own digital banking profiles, enabling them to track spending and manage allowances effectively.
This project was more than just developing a banking app; it was about instilling confidence and responsibility in the younger generation, equipping them with the tools to navigate their financial journeys from an early age.
